Brenda McGinn.
Twenty years at the wheel. A studio in Glaslough, in Co. Monaghan, where she sources her own clay and works one piece at a time.
Her practice is quiet and slow. She makes what the clay asks for — cups, bowls, a small line of bespoke commissions — and leaves the mark of the hand on every piece.
Handcrafted from Glaslough clay.
Every piece is thrown, glazed, and fired in the same small studio in Glaslough, Co. Monaghan. No agencies, no production lines.

From a field, not a bag.
The clay used here is dug locally and refined by hand — a slow, dirty, careful process that most studios skip. What it gives back is a body of clay that carries iron, grit, and the specific colour of this part of Ireland.
“No two pieces are ever the same — each one a small, timeless echo of Ireland.”
