We are so happy to begin a brand NEW YEAR 2021 with our news of not only having survived last year with our pottery business with lockdowns and necessary Covid regs

but also to celebrate our stunning new collections and new collaborations with other artists and businesses within our wee County of Monaghan.

As I had a lot more time freed up from teaching last year I began on retracing my first love which has always been painting and sketching .  Rambling about in my garden last Summer I discovered a humble wee flower called “the Bugleweed” which was growing wildly in shady areas in the garden . I made a study of it and gradually with lots of glaze testing etc “The Wild Irish Bugleweed Range “arrived . I still have a lot to discover with this delicate beautiful little flower though I have enjoyed the designing and painting process thoroughly. We have an Irish Bugleweed Cup as the main product with a platter of 2 sizes to match . Teaming up with Glaslough Chocolates on the lead up to Christmas we sold these with a Glaslough Chocolate bomb in gift sets. I love doing collaborations like this as it benefits both our businesses at the same time and they are right beside us in Glaslough!

Al I can say from the bottom of all our hearts at team Busy Bee Ceramics is  THANKYOU and we look forward to meeting you all again soon to begin the journey of your and our creativity .

“Go n’eiri an bothar libhse ” – May the road rise with you
